Christmas 2008 Light Show
2008 was my first year of using animated lighting using
Light-O-Rama brand light controllers. The setup had
two of their LOR1602W controllers, each
with 16 channels for a total of 32. I had roughly 7000 lights for that year. I'm using an EDM FM Transmitter
set to 87.9MHz which is indicated by a lighted sign so that cars driving by can tune in (the lights by themselves
look fairly odd without the music...). Please forgive the poor quality of the videos - for some reason the camcorder
did not focus properly. In either case, a video of this doesn't do it justice - it's much better in person!
Christmas 2009 Light Show
Here are the songs that were sequenced for 2009. Many Thanks to Tony Palombo
at http://PalomboLights.com who was gracious enough to share his sequences. I borrowed quite a bit from his to make some of mine
and they really turned out nice! These videos were taken with a Flip UltraHD Video camera and downconverted to 640x480 WMV format
so these are not quite as good as the original but they would be too large to download in H.264/MP4 format. The audio tracks were
overdubbed using Cyberlink PowerDirector 8.
Halloween 2010 Show
This is a video from Halloween in 2010 where I used rope
light to animate a singing Jack-O-Lantern made from round bar..
Christmas 2010 Light Show
I'd like to thank Tony Palombo at http://PalomboLights.com for sharing his sequences last year.
I adapted his version of the Black Eyed Peas I Gotta Feelin' for my show and it's very popular.
Thanks also to Dave (alias Dirknerkle) at http://dirknerkle.clubdata.com/ for sharing his sequences this year.
I adapted Mannheim Steamroller versions The Little Drummer Boy and Hark! The
Herald Angels Sing for my show. And last but not least, thanks to Blurp (his handle at DIYC) for sharing his
sequences also - I adapted his fantastic Blurp's Mix for my show as well. Please visit their sites as well to see
the originals in all their splendor!
