Do It Yourself Christmas The best site for all aspects of the DIY lighting - very friendly and helpful group. This forum is focused mainly on the Renard series of DIY controllers. My setup will include multiple Renard 16-channel controllers mainly to drive my LED Strips with DC.

Do It Yourself Lighting Animation This site specializes on the controller designs of Robert Jordan and his Lynx series. All of the controllers are DMX based and there are even wireless interfaces available to reduce the amount of wiring clutter. My setup will include the Lynx FreeStyle controller which supports 128 channels of control.

Planet Christmas This site is geared more towards the Light-O-Rama hardware but has a lot of DIY information too. My setup will include two LOR 16-channel controllers configured to run in DMX mode.
